DrupalCamp Belgium 2018 recap

This past weekend I was in Ghent for Drupal Camp Belgium along with more than 300 people! It turned out to be one of the big Camps, surprising even the organizers.

One of the best things was the city of Ghent because it is really one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. And in fact I hope to come back soon and visit one of the many places related to design that the city has and that I wanted to visit since my first visit into the city.

What a Frontend United journey!

This past weekend in København occurred the Frontend United, the most important frontend event in the Drupal community, and Cristina and me could be there enjoying a lot.

First of all I must to say how nice visit København has been, it's a beautiful city where you can go everywhere using a bike and it's full of interesting places and kind people.

We visited the center of the city and enjoyed walking across its parks, visited the Botanic Museum and discovered its his cool restaurants and the good...

Views 3: what's new?

Yesterday I made a presentation on Views 3 within the context of drupal.cat's sessions. On my presentation I have an overview of some of the new features included on this version which include practical examples such as:

  • Views in backoffice
  • Image galleries
  • Calendars
  • Slideshows

I enjoyed a lot my first presentation at drupal.cat and I hope to make more of them in the future.

Multilingual drupal 7: websites' localization and internacionalisation

As a part of the series of sessions we organize at Drupal.cat, last thursday 6th October I made session about creating multilingual sites with Drupal 7, and more specifically about Internacionalization module.

You can find the slides below, but unfortunately it is a pitty that the video recording didn't work, since the most interesting part was the discussion about the different possible scenarios about multilingual configurations, management, taxonomies, menus... Hopefully further sessions will be recorded...
