The past Friday 14 of January was celebrated the Drupal 7 release party  in Barcelona sponsored by the Catalan community (drupal.cat), Ymbra and diverse companies of the Drupal Catalan sphere like: Neurotic, Tech Athenian, Drauta i Human Bits. Also there were other celebrations in diverse points of Spain as: Almeria, Caceres, Jerez, Leon, Madrid, Santander, Seville, Valencia. 

The Barcelona’s party began at 18:30 in the Arena bar of Barcelona. The drupalers that cheered up to go found with three gifts: a consumption, the plate of drupal 7  and an explanatory booklet of this new version. 

  Once in the bar of the bar it was possible to be tasted “pica-pica”, with Catalan typical plates. Around the 19:00 began  the presentation of the new features of drupal 7 in charge of Ramon Vilar and Pedro Cambra.  In the presentation the main new features could be seen that this fantastic version has brought us: 

• The new interface of administration 
• The great advance as far as usability 
• The concept of Entities 
• The CCK in Core (Fields) 
• The support of images in Core
• and many things more, than had to us hooked and that started more of a applause

  Also there was moment to be thankful to the Catalan community of translation headed by Ramon, for being first translated language 100% in this new version. 

When the finishing the presentation, was realised a drawing of two books Drupal (Drupal 7  and Drupal 7 Module development) and a pair of t-shirts.
